My STORY..The idea of making Gucio shoes came to my mind at the time when my wife and I had our first child. As soon as my son started to take his first step I wanted to buy him some very comfortable shoes. Together with my wife we visited a great number of stores...
It turned out that all shoes had too tough soles and were made from very hard leather that cut into the little feet of a child. Often they were made of artificial materials, which didn't give any comfort at all. I was convinced that badly-matched pair of shoes can become a reason for posture defects in the future.
That was the reason why I undertook a task of creating the best possible shoes for my children and then for my friends' children and friends of my friends' children.
As I graduated the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow, Poland (the department of Industrial Design, specialization in designing shoes ) I had a sufficient knowledge and experience to start my own business and small production of Gucio shoes. And so I did it, I established my own, small firm.
My first clients were very satisfied from "Gucio" and that is why they recommended my product to others. They ordered Gucio shoes as a gift for their nearest and dearest. In that way we were increasing the production gradually, all the time trying to use all the suggestions and remarks that we were receiving from our customers.
Instead of introducing to the market a wide variety of models - according to present fashion, I decided to concentrate on just one perfect model. My goal was to improve GUCIO all the time in order to make small children feel happy about them.
